The distance from the mines to Paradeep Port is about 330 Kilometers (187 Miles). Cargo is moved by rail and road. In case of movement by rail, each rake consists of about 58 wagons and each wagon carries about 58 tons of cargo (Approx 3350 Mt). In case of trucks, each truck is permitted to carry 10 Mt. To ensure timely delivery of cargo at the port, we have mobile squads who monitor the Movement of trucks on the highway.
Our port operation staff handle the timely receipt, weightment, testing and stack of cargo at the port plot. We assist in the port documentation and act as an interface between our client and the port authorities, stevedores, shipping agents and all related agencies and ensure a smooth and hassle free pre & post shipment operation.
